Arbaciidae皇冠海膽科 - Coelopleurus undulatus 的 叉棘pedicellaria

本篇將以之前發表Arbaciidae皇冠海膽科 - Coelopleurus undulatus 31.92mm 標本呈現其叉棘(pedicellaria)的圖，再詳細討論其分佈，並以此篇回應 自戀 兄的問題：

 

筆者在此標本上發現有兩種叉棘(pedicellaria)，即蛇頭叉棘 (Ophicephalous pedicellariae)與三指叉棘(Tridactyl pedicellaria)

 

蛇頭叉棘 (Ophicephalous pedicellariae)

三指叉棘(Tridactyl pedicellaria)

 

 

蛇頭叉棘 (Ophicephalous pedicellariae)最多，分怖於整個殼體，因標本反口面的大棘脫落並向兩邊傾倒，導致反口面門戶大開而使絕大部分的叉棘頭部脫落，只留下許多如白毛般的叉棘柄，因此如果要於標本上尋找完整的叉棘則要在殼體周邊與口面還保留有許多棘刺的地方。經檢視發現蛇頭叉棘 (Ophicephalous pedicellariae) 數量最多，其次為三指叉棘 (Tridactyl pedicellaria)數量不多，大部分分布於殼體周邊區。

 

以下將以藍色圓圈代表三指叉棘(Tridactyl pedicellaria)，以紅色圓圈代表蛇頭叉棘 (Ophicephalous pedicellariae)
